Los Angeles, CA, March 28, 2012 - Only days away from releasing their ninth studio album, Bremerton, WA, punk rock trio MXPX announce four commemorative "20th Anniversary Shows." With the official anniversary falling on July 6, the band will play select dates this spring and summer to celebrate their new album, PLANS WITHIN PLANS, and the legacy they've built over the years.

Their first stop begins in their home away from home, Seattle, WA, on Saturday, May 26, at El Corazon, with Amber Pacific and guests, followed by two Southern California House of Blues showcases. MXPX will join forces with friends Set Your Goals, Mest and Rufio for back-to-back performances at both The House of Blues Anaheim on Friday, June 29, and West Hollywood on Saturday, June 30. Pre-sale tickets are available starting Thursday, March 29, at 10 a.m., exclusively through LiveNation (www.livenation.com). Public sale begins Saturday, March 31.

MXPX will also head to Northern California to perform at JoshuaFest for the third time. The band will headline the main stage the first night of the three-day music festival, Friday, August 31 at Amador County Fairgrounds. For ticket info, visit www.joshuafest.com.

Nearly five years since the release of their last album, MXPX is ready to continue their success with the release of PLANS WITHIN PLANS in the U.S. and Canada on April 3 through MRI/Rock City Recording Company. Staying true to both themselves and their sound, MXPX have remained one of pop-punk's most well-respected names for nearly two decades. New pre-order bundles of the album, LP and newly designed t-shirt are available on the band's website, www.mxpx.com/store.

MXPX is Mike Herrera (bass/vocals), Tom Wisniewski (guitars) and Yuri Ruley (drums). The band has sold over 2.5 million records worldwide and look to continue that momentum.

Current Itinerary for MXPX's "20th Anniversary Shows":
Sat, 5/26 @ El Corazon -- Seattle, WA*
Fri, 6/29 @ House of Blues -- Anaheim, CA**
